The house turned up on Day 22, straight outta 2006. Tintable windows and internal teleporter, woo! It’s called ‘Shirley’s Dreams Challenge House 2.0′, but I have no real idea where you might find it inworld.

Up on the roof, I won the tent at Moonlight Obsession, and the picnic bench with bbq grill arrived in my inventory on Day 58, courtesy of Simply Shelby. The lovely Asian swing dates from Day 44, at The Zen Garden.

Welcome to the bedroom! It ended up with an accidental feline theme, which was very cool seeing as the chairs had made me neko (more on that later):

The kitchen is somewhat sparse, furnished with the St Yves wooden table and bench from Stingray Art and Design on Day 38, and Day 59′s slow roasting tarsk pit by Papillon Designs. Kitchens are even harder to find in lucky chairs than beds, so if you want some form of oven then Gor is the best place to look.

The living room. Lucky chairs really like giving out chairs. It’s like, sooo meta. I think it’s pretty amazing how they’ve gifted me with this retro orange colour scheme

I closed the day stalking the Holy Grail that I’d been seeking since week 1… but more on that tomorrow.

Well, then she shot off because naturally with multiple clients open we were lagging just a tad, so I took some pics of myself:

WHOA! Back up there, Quarterly. We get that the outfit’s from Silent Sparrow, but where did you obtain that hair? And that Amazonian shape? And, Lord help us, that disgusting skin?

Um, yeah. I may have neglected to mention my discovery, on Day 27 or thenabouts, of this place:

There are fifty chairs on this wall and they contain all the full-perm shit in the world. Much of which now belongs to me.

So: Day 21. Still on Talisman, I picked up this purplish lacey thingy, but I forget the name of the store and now the entire sim’s gone. Sigh. It really has been a long time:

Day 22 seems to have been really productive, though:

I found this Japanese mall with a whole street full of lucky boards. My LMs suggest it was in Shinsaibashi, but it’s not there now Anyway, I picked up this pale purple Encemble dress of floaty goodness.

This chair at Gwendolyn Cassini Creations was offering boots, so I stalked it for a few days because, well, I wanted boots. I had no idea they were poofer boots that would spit out random stuff when I walked along:

Hardcore.

How long have I been stalking the Little Heaven chairs? Two weeks? Longer? On Day 20 they finally come good and give me pink hair. Then it’s off to Haute Style:

I love it when they do the bus thing!

I think this may be my favourite look so far.

Also, how long have I been stalking the chair at miaSnow? Seems I’m on another roll:

I fetch up randomly on the Talisman sim. I know all about lucky chairs and lucky boards, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen a lucky duck.

And… the Talisman lucky chairs turn out to be wildcard-friendly, dishing up a heart choker and pair of earrings:

I can’t resist the temptation to pile on all my jewellery. I call this my ‘Eurotrash’ look:

I found this bonanza of lucky chairs in some Gorean market, but unfortunately when a Q came up there was nothing in the chair! Possibly just as well, given my reluctance to run around in my previous Gorean goodies.

I then found my way to [Y.M.X.], where there was a prize that Made No Sense:

Yeah, I won a necklace with the initial O. They suggest trading them, but I like O. O is a nice letter. It’s like Q without the tail.

The other win on day 18 was courtesy of Ivalde. My alt is a big Ivalde fan, and I don’t want to steal her style or anything, but she did glimpse a Q when she was there the previous day and didn’t have time to summon me as there was only a minute left. So, I roll up to Ivalde and the Q is there and waiting. I love it when that happens:

Day 19 is short and sweet. I’m always on the lookout for skin and shape chairs, and I vaguely remember seeing one mentioned on the feeds but I can’t remember exactly what it was called. Well, today I finally locate Heaven’s Shape and after a few minutes along comes my letter:

It’s a skin and a shape, woohoo! Some inches shorter than my Skin-to-Skin shapes, and very cute:

Still in skin/shape hunting mode, I head over to Givenchi to see whether Bodies by Oh! have anything for me, and pick up this perky little dress by Chez Gabrielle:

So at the moment the chairs have rendered me sweet and blue and white and girly. Wonder how long this’ll last?

Yay, I am decent again. There are three skirts with this — mini, ankle-length and full-length — but this is definitely the most suitable for chairstalking. And a nice purple colour that goes with my bruises

I’m craving hair again, so it’s off to try my luck with House of Heart‘s three chairs. HoH/Bewitched have a long history of being generous with the freebies and this is no exception. A couple of changes, and the Q shows up:

It’s the ‘Margo’ style, in Silvers. White is not a colour I’ve ever really thought of wearing in hair, but it looks stunning

Hair cravings satisfied (at least for now) the search for an AO goes on. I know that it’s better to have no AO at all than a dodgy one, and I know how lucky I was to win a walk back on Day 1… but it’s pretty much the only fashion essential I don’t have. (Never been big on prim eyelashes and nails… way too fiddly). Well, I know << Discord >> Nightmare City does AOs, because my alt has a cute skippy one for her gothic lolita days, and I also know they have a big collection of lucky chairs…

What is the collective noun for lucky chairs, anyway? A plethora?

No AOs, alas, but some armbandy things and a cool red/black hair:

Before logging, I check out Absentia and omg, they have another Q. Their floral chair has no prize picture on it, so I’m pleasantly surprised by my new red suede shoes:

Black gloves. Cool. While in Halloween mode, I also discover the lips on the SLink skin are a pretty much perfect match with the Zaara dress:

Later on, I drop into katat0nik and get lucky on the unlucky chair:

It works pretty well with the Sn@tch striped socks, the ‘Mina’ makeup with the yellow eyeshadow and of course my yellow eyes.

Then on day 16 I am summoned by my other alt, who was picks camping at Solstice Silks and rolled up to find the store had vanished, only to be replaced by GutterPup. Which has a Q on one of its chairs.
